Dublin is easily accessible by road or public transport, so Setanta Farmhouse is the ideal base  from which to sample the delights and sights of Ireland's capital city.

Kildare has always been renowned for its sporting heritage. It is a Golfers paradise. The K Club, venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup is close by. The PGA Club at Palmerstown House and Carton House both highly regarded courses are also in the proximity.

No visit to Co. Kildare would be complete without a visit to The Irish National Stud, Japanese Gardens and St. Fiachra's Garden.  Setanta Farmhouse is an ideal base for touring  Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains and Newgrange and Tara in nearby Co. Meath 

Mondello Park Racing Circuit has a full calendar of events and track days and is just minutes from Setanta.

Kildare is also the Horse Racing capital of the country. The Curragh, venue for all of the Irish Flat racing Classics and Irelands’ "Cheltenham"  the Punchestown Festival are both just a  short drive away.
